These images are from a predawn walk from the main road that leads towards the lighthouse, turning off towards the sea. I have tried to capture the enormity of the sky and the barren landscape. Once there were many wooden fishermen’s huts, now most of those that remain have been replaced by shipping containers. The knowledge that the defunct power station was nuclear adds to the stark atmosphere of the place.
