A brief trip to the seafront
These images are from a very brief visit to Sidmouth seafront at high tide with a grand daughter……I was keen to show that, questions are raised by cropping. Has the mood and perhaps the essence of the picture changed for the better ???
For Example, image 3 compared to 1, what do the beach huts add to the picture ? Does the larger figure in 3 appear more forlorn? Are the steps and building in 4 necessary to depict the wistful feel of 4 and/or 5 ? Images, 6, 7 and 8. Which one is best ?
